A bill to replace

How do I replace my software subscriptions with one custom tool?

List what you pay for, write down the one job each tool does in your business, and keep the tools that do a general job well. The ones worth replacing are usually the middle tier: form builders, dashboards and light add-ons that you pay for per seat or per use and bend to fit one workflow. A custom workflow can take over several of them at once, if the bill it removes is larger than what it costs to build and run.

Step one: list the bill

  • Every tool, what it costs each month, and how many people use it.
  • The job it does in your business, in one line.
  • What it connects to, and what stops working if it goes away.
  • Which ones you would miss on Monday morning.

Tools to keep

Keep tools that are standard for your industry, hold your accounting or legal records, or are used by people outside your team. They are rarely worth replacing, because other people expect them.

Tools worth a look

  • Form builders whose answers someone copies into a spreadsheet by hand.
  • Dashboards that show numbers copied from somewhere else.
  • Add-ons to a larger tool that exist to patch one gap.
  • Automations that run the same few steps at high volume.

Do the math

Add up what the group costs in a year. Compare it with the build price plus the monthly cost of running the replacement. Count the hours your team spends moving data between the old tools, too. If the replacement does not pay for itself in a time you accept, do not build it.

How LOJIK prices a replacement

For a replacement, the bill you would remove is the first number LOJIK looks at. The price is still set by a person for your business, in writing, and you approve it before anything starts. If the numbers do not favor building, LOJIK says so and you keep your tools.

When LOJIK is not the right fit

LOJIK is probably not the right choice if:

  • Your tools cost little and nobody is bothered by them.
  • Your customers or partners use the tool and expect it.
  • You cannot share the list of tools and what they cost. Nobody can compare without it.
  • Your team needs to change the rules every day without help. A no-code tool lets them do that.

What working with LOJIK costs

Start with a free plan on screen. A person then sends a price set for your business, and nothing starts until you approve it in writing.

  • The plan: free

Describe the problem and the plan fills in as you answer: the fix, what it includes and how long it takes.

  • Workflow Review: USD 1,500

For when you are not sure what to fix. One week on one task, ending in a written recommendation: build the fix, change how the work is done instead, or stop. If you go ahead with the fix within 30 days, the full fee counts toward its price.

  • Sprint: from USD 5,000

A scoped, priced, finished system built around how your business works. A person sets the price after reading your plan and gives the reason for each line.

  • Operate (we run it for you): a monthly plan per live workflow

LOJIK keeps the finished system online, watched and fixed, with small changes included. Optional, and you can cancel any month.

Prices are in US dollars. Companies in Mexico pay IVA on top.

How the work is done

What you can count on, whichever door you come in through.

  • You approve every quote.

A person at LOJIK sends a written price with the reason for each line. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  • A person answers.

Send your plan and a person at LOJIK replies within one business day. If we are not the right team, we tell you.

Questions

Will I lose my data when I leave a tool?

You should be able to export it first. Check each tool's export before you decide. Moving the data is part of the plan.

Can I replace only some of the tools?

Yes. Start with the ones that cost the most for the least use, and keep the rest.

Who maintains it afterward?

You choose. Your team can run it, LOJIK can run it for you, or LOJIK hands it over step by step. You agree which in writing before launch.

How much does LOJIK cost?

The plan is free. A Workflow Review is USD 1,500, and the full fee counts toward the fix if you go ahead within 30 days. A Sprint starts at USD 5,000. Operate, where LOJIK runs the system for you, is a monthly plan per live workflow. A person sets the final price for your business, and you approve it in writing before anything starts.

Describe the problem. See the plan.

It takes about 3 minutes on screen, and a person at LOJIK reads it before any price.
