One line, eight stations

Every video moves through the same stations. Two of them are apps we built: Rundown records on the phone, and Cutroom edits and renders.

  1. Idea and research

A topic and its sources, gathered in one place.

  2. Script and voice

An outline, then the script and its voice-over.

  3. Design

Pictures, titles and the look of each scene.

  4. Record

On the phone, with the script on a teleprompter.

    Rundown
  5. Edit and render

Cut and rendered as a long film, a Short or a marketing video.

    Cutroom
  6. Checks

The picture and the sound are checked before anyone reviews the cut.

  7. A person approves

Every topic, every script and every final cut.

  8. Publish

    Only after that approval.

A person approves every topic, every script and every final cut before anything is published. The Rundown screen above is from development and uses a made-up project.
